Aug 22 2017 ordered our usual chicken salad sandwich love this place! But as we waited saw their waitress maybe in her late 50's fixing a plate for dining side and watched her lick her fingers then use them to remove pickles from fork and eat the last one. Then used same ungloved hand press sandwich together and then eat bag of chips as we watched her do this! Why she felt this comfortable doing this and not thinking it was unsanitary! Hope you correct this because think she needs to be taught and reminded on her actions. This could hurt your business!
I came here with a larger group this past weekend. There weren't very many people there, so they were able to set up a table for us relatively quickly. Seemed to be a cute place, however while we were waiting for our table, we overheard and watched an older male employee (maybe mid 50s) scream loudly at a young female employee behind the food window (teen or early 20s) to "keep her head down and her mouth shut," as he snapped his hand closed in her face as if he was pinching her mouth closed. The whole restaurant became silent, and the majority of my group, both male and female, immediately felt sick to our stomachs. No one that worked there seemed to react to the way he had just disrespected and belittled this poor girl--seemed as though it was a common thing there. We expressed our disgust and took our business elsewhere.
Fantastic food and service. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, it's all fantastic.
Amazing food! Delicious sit- down dinner entrees or great sandwiches and soup to go! Everything tastes fresh and gourmet. Have never had anything that was short of amazing. My favorite place to eat in Charlevoix.
Walleye was fabulous! Hubby said pork chop was tender & juicy. Our waitress Jasmine was attentive, helpful and very personable. We will be back!
